Petrojam Limited hereby invites bids from bidders for the Provision of Quality Control Services- Shutdown 2021 at its Refinery located at 96 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston. The expected duration of the project is thirty (30) calendar days.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested bidders are required to submit the following with their bids:

  1. Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC); and
  2. Valid Certificate of Registration with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) (formerly, NCC) of Jamaica in the category of General Services, specializing in “non-destructive testing” or non-destructive testing: ultrasonic thickness measuring and refinery inspection.

Collection of Bidding Documents

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English will be available for download as at Tuesday, April 20, 2021 on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website Registration instructions are available on the website listed on the system. Registration is required for bidders to participate in the Tender.


Request for clarification will be accommodated up to Wednesday, May 12, 2021at 2:00 p.m. sharp. All clarification will be facilitated through the electronic platform only (

Deadline for Submission of Bids

Bids shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the bid closing and must be submitted online via no later than Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.

Bid Opening

Online Bid Opening takes place on Friday, May 14 2020 at 2:05 p.m. An online bid opening report will be sent to all Bidders that submitted a proposal.

Petrojam Limited is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point prior to the award of contract without incurring any liability to any of the participants.
