Petrojam Limited hereby invites bids from suitably experienced contractors to assist with the transfer of operations from its Old Laboratory to the New Laboratory Building located at 75-96 Marcus Garvey Drive. The move to the New Laboratory will take place over a one (1) year period, with the various tasks expected to be non-routine and require the contractor to be “on call”. The duties are to be performed on an as needed basis and with payments made based on work performed.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested bidders are required to submit the following with their bids:
Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) or Tax Compliance Letter (TCL)
Valid National Contracts Commission Certificate in the category of Building Maintenance Grade 3 with their bids.
Collection of Bidding Documents
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English will be available for download as at Wednesday, October 31, 2018 on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website Registration instructions available on the website listed on the system. Registration is required for vendors to participate in the Tender.
Request for clarification will be accommodated up to Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. sharp. All clarification will be facilitated through the electronic platform only (
Site Visit
A mandatory Site Visit will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at Petrojam Limited’s Kingston Refinery, 96 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15, Jamaica, location only. All interested contractors are required to contact Mr. Hugh Golding at / 923-8611-5 to make arrangements to attend. Safety shoes, hats, pants, shirts, coveralls and glasses are required for the Site Visit. Failure to attend the Site Visit shall result in the rejection of the bidder’s bid.
Deadline for Submission of Bids
Bids shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the bid closing and must be submitted online via no later than Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 am.
Bid Opening
Online Bid Opening takes place on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:05 a.m. An online bid opening report will be sent to all Bidders that submitted a proposal.
Petrojam Limited is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point prior to the award of contract without incurring any liability to any of the participants.
