Petrojam Limited hereby invites qualified bidders for the Servicing and Inspecting of the Fire Water System for a period of two (2) years at its facilities located at 75-96 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15; Lot 3 Newport West, Kingston 15; and Montego Bay Terminal, Freeport, Montego Bay, St. James.
The Scope of Works includes but is not limited to the following:
Service, inspect and conduct maintenance of the fire water system as required.
Clean fire water sumps in Kingston and Montego Bay.
Provide fire watch services.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested bidders are required to submit the following with their bids:
Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) or Tax Compliance Letter (TCL).
Proof of registration with the National Contracts Commission (NCC) in the category of Mechanical Works, Grade 1.
Bid Security of Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Jamaican Dollars (J$350,000.00) in the form of a Bank Guarantee, Bid Bond, or a Manager’s Cheque.
Bids submitted without the aforementioned documents will be rejected
Collection of Bidding Documents
Bidding Documents will be available from the Receptionist, Petrojam Limited, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15 as of Monday, June 27, 2016 – Thursday July 14, 2016 between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM for a non-refundable fee of Three Thousand Dollars (J$3,000.00) in the form of cash or manager’s cheque. Failure to purchase the bidding documents directly from Petrojam Limited shall result in the rejection of the bid
Site Visit
A mandatory Site Visit will be held at Petrojam Limited, 75-96 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15 on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM. All interested contractors are required to contact Robert Blake at rdb@petrojam.com or 923-8611-5 to make arrangements to attend. Safety shoes, helmet and glasses are required for the Site Visit. Failure to attend the Site Visit will result in the rejection of the bid.

Deadline for Submission of Bids
Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred & twenty (120) days after bid closing and shall be deposited in the tender box labeled “SERVICING AND INSPECTING THE FIRE WATER SYSTEM” in the Lobby at Petrojam Limited’s Procurement Unit, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15, no later than Tuesday, July, 19 2016 at 10:00AM. Late bids will be rejected.
Bid Opening
Proposals will be opened at Petrojam Limited’s Procurement Unit, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15 on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:05AM. Bidders and/or their representatives are invited to attend the opening.
Petrojam Limited is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point prior to the award of contract without incurring any liability to any of the participants.
