Petrojam Limited invites bidders to submit bids for the Corporate Office Ground Floor Renovations at its Refinery located at 96 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15. The estimated duration of this procurement activity is One Hundred & Fifty (150) Calendar days.
The Scope of Works includes but is not limited to the following: Excavations, Concreting, Walling and Masonry, Roofing, Carpentry, Joinery and Hardware, Hardware and Metal Work, Plastering, Wall Tiling and Paving, Ceiling and Finishes, Plumbing, Glazing and Painting, Drainage, Electrical Works and HVAC Works.
Interested bidders are required to submit the following with their bids:
Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) or Tax Compliance Letter (TCL).
Valid National Contracts Commission (NCC) Certificate in the category of Building Construction Grade 1 Minimum
Bid Security of Six Hundred Thousand (J$600,000.00)

Bidding Documents will be available from the Receptionist, Petrojam Limited, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15 as of Monday, October 24, 2016 – Wednesday, November 9, 2016 between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 4:00p.m. at a cost of Three Thousand Jamaican Dollars (J$3000.00) in the form of cash or manager’s cheque. Failure to purchase the bidding document directly from Petrojam Limited shall result in the rejection of the Bid
A mandatory Site Visit will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Petrojam Limited, Kingston Refinery, 96 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15, Jamaica, W.I. location. All interested contractors are required to attend and can contact Donald Johnson (923-8611-5; firstname.lastname@example.org) to make arrangements to attend. Safety shoes, hats and glasses are required for the site visit. The failure of a bidder to attend the mandatory site visit will result in rejection of the bid.

Deadline for Submission of Bids
Bids shall be valid for a period of One Hundred & Twenty (120) days after bid closing and shall be deposited in the tender box labeled “Corporate Office Ground Floor Renovations” in the lobby area of the Procurement Unit, Petrojam Limited’s at 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15, no later than Monday, November 21, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be opened at the Procurement Unit, Petrojam Limited, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15 at 10:05a.m., Monday November 21, 2016. Bidders and/or their representatives are invited to attend.
Petrojam Limited is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to terminate the bidding process at any point prior to the award of contract without incurring any liability to any of the participants.
