Bids are invited from local insurance companies and brokers that are pre-qualified by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) and registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PCC) [formerly NCC] to provide insurance services to PETROJAM LIMITED. The period of agreement will be for three (3) years with the successful broker.

Pre-qualified brokers & insurers will be required to submit in their bid packages:
Valid Tax Compliance Certificate or Tax Compliance Letter;
A valid copy of the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) [formerly NCC] Certificate of Registration in the category of Insurance Services;
Registration with the Financial Services Commission (FSC)
Cover is currently placed and required for the following classes of insurances:
Property Damage including Machinery Breakdown/Business Interruption/Extra Expense
Sabotage & Terrorism
Comprehensive General Liability
Marine Cargo
Computer All Risks
Employer’s Liability
Loss of Money
Fidelity Guarantee
Private Motor Comprehensive
Private Commercial Motor Comprehensive
Motor Contingent Liability
Collection of Bidding Documents
Bidding Documents in English will be available for collection at Petrojam Limited, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15 GATE # 1 location as of Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Failure to collect the bidding documents directly from Petrojam Limited shall result in the rejection of the bid.
Clarifications
Request for clarification will be accommodated up to Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. sharp. All clarifications related to this procurement activity should be directed to bidqueries@petrojam.com.
Briefing Session:
A virtual briefing session will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. via Microsoft Teams. All bidders are required to submit names and email addresses for at least two (2) representatives to bidqueries@petrojam.com at least 24hrs prior to the meeting date and time.
Deadline for Submission of Bids
Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days after bid closing and shall be deposited in the tender box labeled “PROCUREMENT OF INSURANCE BROKERING SERVICES 2021 TO 2024” located in the Lobby at the Procurement Unit, Petrojam Limited, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15, no later than Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Late bids will be rejected.
Bid Opening
Bids will be opened at the Procurement Unit, Petrojam Limited, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15 on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Bidders and/or their representatives are invited to attend the opening.
Petrojam Limited is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point prior to the award of contract without incurring any liability to any of the participants.
