Position: Manager, Reliability and Maintenance
Mr. Handel Lamey has been employed to Petrojam Limited since 2012, in the capacity of Manager for Reliability and Maintenance. In his capacity as Manager of Reliability and Maintenance, Mr. Lamey leads the Refinery’s reliability improvement initiatives and directs all plant maintenance activities. Mr. Lamey holds a Masters in Business Administration with Specialism in Strategic Planning from Heriot-Watt University and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the College of Arts, Science and Technology.
Prior to assuming this office, Mr. Lamey occupied various positions such as Manager of Group Facilities and Administration at the RJR Communications Group. He was also the Director of Strategic Business Development at Limco Engineering and Contracting Services. Mr. Lamey was also employed to the Jamaica Private Power Company for over twelve years, where he held various positions such as Operations Coordinator, Maintenance Manager and Plant Engineer. He also served at the Jamaica Public Service Company Limited as Head of the Electrical Department and Technician Engineer.
Mr. Lamey’ s volunteer activities include being the Chartered Secretary for the Rotary Club of East Kingston and Port Royal, a Board Member of Christ Alive Christian Centre, an Associate Member of the IEEE and a member of the Global Association of Risk Professional.
