The major phases of the RUP are:
1. Front End Engineering Design (FEED)
2. Engineering (Detailed), Procurement & Construction (EPC)
3. Commissioning and Start-up

Project Schedule

The projected completion of the FEED study has been pushed back from October 2008 to February 2009 as a result of the delay in the start of work on the Delayed Coker Unit (DCU).

Based on current indications, the likely schedule for completion of the entire Refinery Upgrade Project is now as follows:
• DCU Design Start March 24, 2008 (Actual)
• FEED Study Completion February 2009
• EPC Start mid-2009
• Commissioning/Start up 3Q 2012
